I am an MA student at the Department of Jewish History and Contemporary Jewry, at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, interested in the relocation of the Jewish life centers from Europe to America and Israel during the aftermath of WWII. I hold a bachelor’s degree from the Economics and Communication and Journalism Departments at the Hebrew University and an MBA from the Tel Aviv University Business School.

My thesis “From Marseille to Haifa – The Transfer of Art Objects from France to Israel During 1947-1952” is written under the supervision of Prof. Amos Goldberg and Dr. Renana Keidar. While the key figure in bringing these art objects to Israel was Mordechai Narkiss (1898-1957), Director of the Bezalel
National Museum in Jerusalem, the research isn’t a biography of Narkiss, but rather explores the myriad of networks – people, organizations and locations through which he succeeded in transferring art objects.
