On 22.11.2022, the Institute members went on a guided tour at the Mahane Yehuda Market in Jerusalem.


On 10.08.2022, two Postdoctoral fellows of the Institute, Dr. Eran Shlomi and Dr. Rebekka Grossmann, presented papers at the 18th World Congress of Jewish Studies, which took place at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (08-12.8.2022). At their panel, “Cultures of Global Aid: Jews in Twentieth-Century Histories of Humanitarianism and International Governance,” organized by Dr. Rebekka Grossmann, they were joined by Dr. Abigail Jacobson (Hebrew University) and Mikhail Mitsel (JDC Archives). On 07.07.2022, Prof. James Loeffler (University of Virginia) lectured on "Antisemitism and Genocide: Theorizing the Connection in Raphael Lemkin's Thought." Dr. Rebekka Grossmann of the Jacob Robinson Institute chaired the event. Read more
