We are thrilled to announce that our Visiting PhD Fellow, Anne Rethmann, has successfully completed her doctorate summa cum laude. Her outstanding dissertation, "The Nonidentical of Human Rights: The Individual and the Concept of Dignity in Post-1945 Human Rights Debates”, was completed at the Institute of Philosophy at the Free University of Berlin.

Beginning in October 2025, Anne will continue her academic journey as a postdoctoral fellow at the Martin Buber Society of Fellows in the Humanities and Social Sciences at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. We warmly congratulate her on this remarkable achievement and wish her the very best in this exciting next chapter!
