4 September, 2025

As part of its ongoing research on reparations and their impact, the Jacob Robinson Institute has partnered with the Azrieli Center for Israel Studies (MALI) at Ben-Gurion University and the Weidenfeld Institute of Jewish Studies at the University of Sussex to convene an international workshop titled “Beyond Wiedergutmachung: Unravelling the Legacies of the 1952 Holocaust Reparations Agreement.”

The workshop brought together scholars from Israel and abroad to examine the long-term legacies of the 1952 Holocaust Reparations Agreement across politics, law, memory, and culture, while also exploring its broader global resonances.
