Professor Dan Diner received the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany on October 1, 2024. The award was presented to him by Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier for his outstanding contribution to fostering academic relations between the Federal Republic of Germany and the State of Israel.
